After an exciting day exploring the Eastern Pyrenees, you'll be keen to return to the 5-star Chalet Càlid in Font-Romeu, where you can relax in the hot tub or sip a drink on the terraces as the sun goes down.
Just 4.4km from the slopes, 1.4km from the centre of the village and surrounded by walking and biking trails, Chalet Càlid is perfectly placed for guests to enjoy this fascinating area.
The oldest ski resort in the Pyrenees, Font Romeu's location close to the Spanish border means you'll get a flavour of both countries during your holiday. It's also traditionally a meeting place for pilgrims, especially those heading for the routes of Santiago de Compostela.
About the property...
Chalet Càlid offers luxurious accommodation for up to 10 guests (8 adults), with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
All rooms, including the dormitory, are en suite, offering comfort and privacy, with modern, elegant furnishings.
You'll find three of the bedrooms on the ground floor: two double bedrooms and a dormitory-style bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. Each of these bedrooms has a stylish en-suite shower room, and two of them open onto the terrace, where you'll find sunbeds and the hot tub. Children have their own playroom with a video projector, where they can play on the PS5, have a karaoke session, or enjoy a movie with a home theater audio system without disturbing the adults. There's also a laundry and ski room on this floor with a heated boot rack.
The spacious master suite on the first floor has a double bed, a sofa bed, TV, desk area and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower.
The fully-equipped kitchen is a delight for keen chefs, with everything from an induction hob, dishwasher and microwave oven to a Thermomix. There's room for everyone to eat together at the elegant glass dining table or, in good weather, on either of the two terraces.
After dinner, gather on the cosy sofa and chairs in front of the woodburning stove to chat about your day, or perhaps watch a film on the 75-inch TV.
Chalet Càlid has parking for two cars, as well as a charging point for electric vehicles, payable via a QR code.
The chalet, located in a small developing neighborhood, offers a cozy interior and modern amenities for your comfort. However, please note that construction work is ongoing on the neighboring chalets during the week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

About the area...
The region is a paradise for winter sports fans! With over 40 slopes of varying difficulty, four ski schools, a snowpark, two toboggan runs as well as slalom and biathlon stadiums, there’s something for skiers of all levels in the Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 ski area. There’s even more to discover in the resort of Les Angles, just 20km away.
Just 15 minutes' drive from Font-Romeu, the Vallée d'Eyne showcases the flora and fauna of the Eastern Pyrenees. It's a fantastic summer playground for nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers.
Other activities on offer in the Font-Romeu area include climbing, paragliding, caving, horse riding, canyoning and golf. The resort has been awarded the “Famille Plus” label for its programme of activities and facilities for children, making the area an excellent choice for families.
And when you’re ready to relax, head to the nearby thermal springs. Combined with the pure air of the Pyrenees, the therapeutic waters will take care of your body and your mind – the perfect way to wind down during your holiday in the Pyrenees with family or friends.

Welcome to our chalet, a project we worked on as a family – me, my wife and our daughter. Our aim was to build a real chalet made of wood and stone, respecting the environment, with exceptional views and a peaceful setting.
We wanted to create an experience on a par with a 5-star establishment, combining comfort, luxury and privacy. The children were at the heart of our thinking, with particular attention paid to their safety and well-being, and the creation of a space dedicated entirely to them, so that they can enjoy an exceptional stay, just like the adults.
The chalet is also equipped with a top-of-the-range professional spa, designed to offer a real moment of relaxation and well-being, a far cry from traditional facilities. Everything has been carefully thought out to make your stay simply unforgettable.
